12.12.2010: FAREWELL SPACE SHUTTLE: The workhorse of NASA will have only two flights in next year, STS-133 'Discovery' (not earlier as February 3rd, 2011) and STS-134 'Endeavour' (not earlier as April 1st, 2011). This two flights will give you the last chance in history to watch a live Space Shuttle LiftOff. 06.12.2010: PARABOLIC FLIGHTS WITH THE ILYUSHIN 76 MDK IN 2011: 18 months passed by, during this time the largest parabola aircraft of the world was not available out of restructuring of the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Centre (GCTC) in Star City, nearby Moscow. At the beginning of December 2010 now the first parabolic flights will have the restart of the program, and in 2011 the Ilyushin 76 MDK is back in service normally. The parabolic flights in Russia are beloning since late 2002 to one of the highlights of SPACE TRAVELLERS adventures! The size of the cargo bay is giant! Professional cosmonaut trainers will instruct you as experienced coaches! They will show you, what you can expect if you are under weightlessness conditions. 04.12.2010: SHUTTLE FAREWELL TOUR 2011: After the postponings of STS-133 'Discovery' several times, NASA decided now to postpone the liftoff to February 3, 2011. Out of this postponing, the mission of STS-134 'Endeavour' must move out of February, and is now planned not earlier as April 1, 2011. So, our plannings for the tours to see one of the last Space Shuttle liftoffs is back again at the beginning, but for you this could be the chance, to see the liftoff to space last time, before the Space Shuttle program will be stopped for ever. So, do not hesitate to chose one of the 2 dates for you, family or friends. We have tickets for STS-133, you will not receive any one on the free market (only, maybe on the black market, but then its better because of the high price to go on our tour - you have more from this!). 03.12.2010: SOYUZ LANDING 2011: Today we were informed by our partners from Russia that the rescue team of the Russian space agency mentioned, that the weather conditions in March were not really great to attend the landing of the Soyuz TMA-01M. It would not be only just the weather, the landing zones could be very different from each other. Out of this, we have decided to cancel the adventure for March for Soyuz TMA-01M. Now, we will attend the landing of Soyuz TMA-20 what is scheduled (at the moment!) for June 16th 2011. In June, the weather is much more pleasant, because it can get quite windy when you're standing in the vastness of the steppes of Kazakhstan and wait for the sonic boom, which occurs high above you in heaven before the Soyuz descent capsule, hanging on their giant parachute, slides down to the ground. 24.11.2010: DEPARTURE TO THE SPACE STATION - SOYUZ TMA-21: As you stand in 1.5 kilometer of distance to the Gagarinsky launchpad, you enjoyed the whole preperation auf launching this rocket to space since the last 3 days. Thousands of kilometers and 6 days ago you started the voyage on the footsteps of Yuri Gagarin. In 2011, it is the 50th anniversary, as this man was first who goes to space. And now, you can be there - at the awesome place of the cosmodrome Baikonur in the steppes of Kazakhstan! Then, the rocket engines are fired and the rocket threaten to burn up in a ball of fire! But then, the Soyuz does does its liftoff majestically in the skies over Kazakhstan. You can watch the rocket during its ascent long time after the stage seperation from the first stage, if the so called 'Koroljov Cross' is showing in the sky. 3 days later, at the Mission Control Centre at Koroljov nearby Moscow, you will see the Soyuz again, if it is docked with its crew to the International Space Station. 24.11.2010: RETURN FROM SPACE - SOYUZ TMA-01M: Soyuz TMA-01M was the first Soyuz-Spcecraft what represented a new configuration. 19 design changes were made which resulted in a weight saving of 70kg. The Astro- and Cosmonauts Kaleri, Skripokhka and Kelly flown to space from the cosmodrome Baikonur in Kazakhstan on October 7th 2010 and representing a part of the ISS-Expedition Crew 25. Up to 16th of March 2011 this crew will spend their time in space before they will begin their descent back to Earth. And you can be there! After a 6 hour jeep drive through the steppe of Kazhakstan you will have a meeting with the rescue team of the Russian Space Agency. You will see then after a while the opening of the big parachute of the Soyuz spacecraft 10 kilometers above you, and you will reach the landing point of Soyuz with the first teams. Then, you will see as the recovery forces will take the Astro- and Cosmonauts out of the Soyuz descent capsule after their trip through hell of Earth's atmosphere. 24.11.2010: WEIGHTLESSNESS AS THE COSMONAUTS: We are glad to offer after 18 months again our Zero-G flights with the russian Ilyushin 76 MDK. During the 18 months, the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Centre was been removed out of the military association and its belonging now to the civilian russian Space Agency. In September 2003 we performed our first own chartered Zero G flight with a very special program. Since then, several hundred customers from all over the world really enjoyed this weightless event. 08.11.2010: TO THE EDGE OF SPACE - SPACE AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE: Since 2002 we are performing 'Edge of Space Flights" with fighter jets. To take our customers high as possible. We flown the MIG-25, the MIG-31 and the Electric Lightning. The only place, where you can do that nowadays is Russia! There, you can fly together with a very experienced test pilot to the 'Edge of Space'. Space is in real at 330,000ft (100km) altitude (at the so called 'Karman Line') US-Airforce decleared the altitude of space with 262,467ft (80km). 18.10.2010: SOYUZ RETURN FROM SPACE. Its an special and unique adventure, to be in the nomans land of Kazakhstan. Then, suddenly, you hear a big boom in the sky above you. You are looking into the blue sky, and there - it is. A Soyuz is coming back to Earth. Gliding on its big parachute downwards to Earth! You will rush into the jeep, with it you came from Karagandy/Kazahkstan in the last 12 hours to this point. To see the Soyuz landing. Your driver will speed up and drives like in a ralley though the steppe. To the landing point of the Soyuz, where it is making touch down. Helicopters of the search and rescue team is around you, and you are following the big amphibic cars of the rescue team. Then, you stand 2 meters beside, when the cosmonauts, who stayed 180 days in space onboard the International Space Station ISS, will be evacuated from the burned up Soyuz descent capsule! 05.10.2010: SPACE TRAVELLERS SPACE SHUTTLE FAREWELL TOUR 2011. The last launch of a space shuttle is now scheduled for 27/02/2011. The STS-134 Endeavour mission, could be the last Space Shuttle mission forever. However, there is a currently thinking, to add an Space Shuttle mission STS-135 what will have its liftoff in June 2011. This is carried out, if it isn't carried out the support Mission STS-335, which is at the same time on the launchpad as STS-134 in February 2011. Since the Columbia disaster in 2003, NASA chose a "rescue mission" what is on the pad at the same time, if another mission is running into troubles in space. The U.S. Congress has approved a budget for this mission on 30.09.2009. Should it come to the Mission STS-135, Space Shuttle Atlantis will be on 28 June 2011 on the pad to have a liftoff to a 11-day mission, with the minimum crew of 4 astronauts on board, the smallest crew ever on board a Shuttle since 1983 (STS-6). 24.11.2009: A new adventure, a new thrill: SPACE TRAVELLERS is proud to announce a unique program: a spaceflight pre-qualification training for suborbital space-rides. 01.05.2009: It has been long known that the MIG-31 "Foxhound", with wich we provide normally since 2006 our "Edge of Space" flights, is currently not available at Sokol in Niszhny Novgorod/Russia It is planned that the MIG-31 at Sokol will return in this year, but at the moment we can't say nothing about a time schedule. But we can say that we have performed in the past few months with the MIG-29 "Edge of Space Flights" up to an altitude of 72.400ft (22km). The advantages of the MIG-29 compared to the MIG-31: You sit in a large cockpit, have a better view on all sides, and - the MIG-29 program is much cheaper than the MIG-31. 18.04.2009: The German newspaper "Die Welt" brought today on the first side of its publishing a header-story about our tour to the Landing site of the Soyuz-TMA13 spacecraft on April 8th, 2009. Here you can read the article online from the journalist Dennis Buchmann, who attended this voyage for our customer Sandoz. The article is named "Eine Landung mit der Soyuz ist nichts für Weicheier" (A landing with the Soyuz is nothing for softies - only in German language).

03.04.2009:A group of 10 journalist will be guided to Moscow/Star City and to Kazakhztan from April 3 up to April 10. We have organized this tour to watch the landing of the Soyuz TMA-13 mission on April 8th in the steppe of Kazakhztan. Our complete team will be absent out of this reason up to April 10. 10.09.2008: To new destinations - says the Postbank of Germany. From 17.09.08 up to 24.09.2008, at 5 different locations (Dresden/Leipzig/Bremen/Frankfurt) they will hold their executives meeting, and the sourroundig field is: Space!. Space Travellers supported the event agency ConceptX in the preparation of space with a basic theme. Exhibition booths, specialists from ESA, Astronaut guest speakers (Ulrich Walter/ESA - Franz Viehböck/Austria) will help the executives to show the new way of the Postbank in their new future maintenance. The Project manager for ESA missions as the "Cassini Huygens" mission or "Mars lander" mission as well as specialists in the field of religious studies will participate. 07.05.2008: The MDR filmed with us at the airport Bitburg/Eifel/Germany on the former US-Airforce Base Bitburg. The film will be showed on German TV in the program "Lexi TV" of German TV MDR and will show inside the movie about the famous Otto Lilienthal a jet flight participation and training on the L-39ZO Albatross. The movie will be shown on German tv MDR at end of May 2008.

18.04.2008: New schedules for our Zero-G flights in USA. From May up to the end of September of this year, you will find a lot of dates in serveral city's inside of USA, where you can have the experience of weightlessness also as in Russia. 14.04.2008: During our last tour to the liftoff of the Soyuz TMA-12 mission to the International Space Station ISS, our customer headed with us to Baikonur and were touched with human spaceflight in reality. During the 8 days tour they saw the famous Star City nearby Moscow with the training facilities of the Yuri A. Gagarin Training Centre (GCTC), the Gagarin Museum there, before they flown with us to Baikonur. There, they saw the rollout of the mounted Soyuz rocket on a train, the errection of the rocket on the Gagarinsky Launchpad. They take apart at the press conferences of the primary and the secondary crew of Soyuz TMA-12, saw the giant launch pads of the Energia rocket and the space shuttle Buran. They conquered Baikonur in a international group, and the climax: in a distance of 2 kilometers they watched the liftoff of the Soyuz rocket, as it blasted into space to touch the International Space Station ISS two days later. Back in Moscow, they visited the Energia museum and stood beside the original Wostok descent capsule of Yuri Gagarin, and saw at the Mission Control Centre (MCC) at Koroljov the docking of the Soyuz TMA-12 mission live on big TV screen. People were astonished about, how near they came at the Soyuz and about the space history, that the Russians are writing since the launch of the first artificial satellite Sputnik in 1957. 11.04.2007: Celebrate with us "Yuri's Night 2007" in Stuttgart, Germany. On April 12th, 1961 the brave soviet cosmonaut Yuri A. Gagarin blasted off into the sky of Kazhakhstan. He was flew onboard his spaceship "Wostok 1" into Earth orbit and circeled the Earth 1 time in 107 minutes, before he landed safety on ground. On April 12th 1981, 20 years after the first human spaceflight, the American Space Shuttle had opened the doors for reusable spaceships. Every April 12th, around the planet on 5 continents, Yuri Gagarin will be honored with several events, so called "Yuri's Night"! 23.12.2006: We congratulate the crew members of the Shuttle "Discovery", what was landed on 23.32 MEZ on the Space Shuttle Runway at Cape Canaveral on December 22nd for a very successful mission. Also, we will give nice greetings to German astronaut Thomas Reiter, who has spend nearby 180 days into space during his ISS-Mission.

08.11.2006: Because the Zuchowsky-Airbase at Moscow region is closed for flights of civil nature, we cannot book the jet flights with the L-39 'Albatros', MIG-23 'Flogger', MIG-29 'Fulcrum', SU-30 'Flanker' and MIG-25 'Foxbat' (Edge of Space) at the moment there for you. How long the Airbase is closed for civil flights avoids our knowledge. Should you hear other statements, we can insure you, that these statements have no validity. No civil flights take place on not foreseeable time. Please, follow the tips within the performed programs under "prices and details". Nevertheless, the program offers are still on-line at the moment, until we have received a final decision. We have the possibility to fly on another Airbase in Niszhny Novgorod MIG-31 'Foxhound' and MIG-29 'Fulcrum'. The L-39 'Albatros' you can fly in California / USA, one of the highlights of our jet programs. Also you can climb up in South Africa with the 'Electric Lightning' in the highest altitudes. A MIG-29 program for the new location on the SOKOL-Airbase in Nishny Novgorod is at the moment in the development and is presented during the next days on our homepage.

22.05.2006: By changes in the management of the Zuchowsky-Airbase, from where we allow to begin our jet flights with L-39, MIG-23, MIG-29, SU-27/30 and MIG-25, the shopping conditions have changed. In own thing we point to the fact which our adventures with the Russian fight jets cannot be sold about price. We also position ourselves to go not into a prizefighting with our competitors. 14.09.2005: From the 26.09. - 05.10.2005 is our team with an special international travel group in Star City/Russia and in Baikonur/Kazakhstan to be present at the start of Soyuz TMA 7 with the International Space Station expedition crew 12 (William McArthur-USA, Valeri Tokarev-RUS and the American Space tourist Greg Olsen) on the 10/1/2005. Also we will visit the MCC Koroljov (Mission Control Centre). After this tour there are reports of experience, pictures and videos on our sides.

15.08.2005: Shortly we can offer a new, singular experience to you: Fly with the most modern L-39 'Albatros' jet "Wild Child" through the Grand Canyon and in the low-altitude flights over the Mojawe desert in California/USA.
